A well-established global investment manager is hiring a senior analyst into its multi-asset investment team in Hong Kong. This is a genuinely broad seat: you'll own fundamental research across sectors, form your own high-conviction views, and work hand in hand with portfolio managers on how the book is built and run.

About the opportunity

You'll sit close to the investment decision, covering equities with a generalist lens while bringing real depth where it counts. The firm has a long institutional heritage, serving insurers and other institutional investors, so the work is rigorous, long-term and research-led rather than short-horizon. There's room here for someone who wants their analysis to actually move the portfolio.

Your focus

● Lead fundamental equity research across multiple sectors, with a primary focus on Asia alongside other major global markets

● Build differentiated, high-conviction ideas grounded in company fundamentals, industry analysis, direct company engagement and valuation discipline

● Produce the full work: company research, financial models, earnings forecasts, valuation and investment theses, and risk assessments

● Support portfolio managers on construction, active monitoring and ongoing analysis of holdings

● Prepare the documentation that feeds the Investment Committee and the wider investment process

● Stay on top of market-moving news in your coverage and flag it quickly

What we're after

● Around 7 to 12 years in equity research or investment management on the buy-side or sell-side

● A true generalist who can assess opportunities across sectors, company fundamentals and valuation trends. Depth in the semiconductor value chain, broader technology or cyclical sectors is a strong plus, and an engineering or technical background paired with solid financial analysis is welcome

● Degree in business, finance, economics or a related field

● Fluent written and spoken English for a multicultural team; Mandarin is a plus

● Strong on Excel, Bloomberg and Bloomberg Excel

● An independent thinker who's happy to challenge and be challenged, with high standards of integrity and ownership
