Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the company's annual budgeting process and drive rolling quarterly/monthly financial forecasts across multiple business units.
- Provide Strategic Insight: Analyze complex financial data and market trends to deliver actionable recommendations to the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and CFO.
- Evaluate Expansion & Investments: Conduct feasibility studies, ROI modeling, and financial due diligence for new business initiatives, capital expenditures, or mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Oversee Financial Closing: Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timeliness.
- Prepare Executive Reports: Consolidate financial statements and design performance dashboards (variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis) for group-level presentation.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to international accounting standards, local tax regulations, and statutory filing requirements.
- Optimize Cash Flow: Monitor working capital, manage corporate liquidity, and propose strategies to optimize funding and cash flow operations.
- Banking & Financing Relations: Coordinate with corporate bankers regarding loan facilities, credit drawdowns, project financing, and capital deployment.
- Risk Management: Mitigate financial exposures by designing strategies around foreign exchange (FX) risks, interest rate fluctuations, and internal control weaknesses.
- Drive Finance Transformation: Lead initiatives to automate financial processes and upgrade enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, or specialized accounting software).
- Cross-functional Business Partnering: Collaborate with non-finance departments (e.g., Operations, HR, Sales) to track KPIs, enforce cost management guidelines, and maximize profitability.
- Manage Audit Engagements: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating annual corporate audits and addressing system control recommendations.
- Talent Development: Directly manage, mentor, and upskill a team of assistant finance managers, senior accountants, and analysts.
- Workload Allocation: Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and organize department structure to align with corporate growth plans.
- Bachelor's degree holder from a globally recognized university
- Professional accountancy qualification
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive career progression experience proven by large companies
- Excellent command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Solid leadership experience
