Overview
With ambitious bank strategy in the region a well-established regional bank is seeking an Senior Manager, Cost control and governance to join their well establish financial control function.
Responsibilities
- A leading role of cost management and the payment functions to make sure payment on time and its efficiency.
- Perform execution and update on cost governance, approve and review projects
- Handling budgeting and forecast, and any other cost related issues
- Producing proposal for controlling expense, cost management report and analysis,
- A lead facilitator role in bi-weekly management meetings and take control in the group's cost governance
- Working closely with COO and CFO
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Accounting with recognized professional qualification (CPA or CMA)
- Minimum 15 years financial services in banking industry
- Solid experience in cost management and leading experience
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, the ability to cater messages to different stakeholders
- Strong execution capability with excellent judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proactive and works well under pressure
- Proficient in Cantonese and English
