Trade Support, Equity Derivatives (Leading Global Investment Bank)

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Department Head in Hong Kong, the role acts as the first point of contact between the Trade Support Team and Business Units.
• Oversight and manage the trade support team to conduct the overall trade support process including trade processing, booking, and FO trade reconciliation for Equity Derivatives.
• Managing escalated client queries and issues from Business and clients
• Responsible for identifying any control gaps and putting in place corresponding controls to mitigate operational risks
• Ensure all the policies and procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Taking the lead to drive any enhancements to automate or streamline current workflows
• Deliver people leadership skills with Objectives Setting, Mid-Year and Year-End performance rating, holiday coverage and rosters, staff issues handling, etc.

Requirements:

• University graduate - Bachelor degree or above, or with equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of Middle Office / Trade Support experience including but not limited to Equities, Fixed Incomes, OTC Equity Derivatives & Structure Products.
• Experience on Front to Middle office tools such as Bloomberg, Calypso or XTrader
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Willing to work on public holidays and morning shifts
