Overview
An international corporate bank is currently seeking a VP/SVP Fund Sales to bring in new institutional investors and clients to achieve business targets.
Role Responsibilities
- To manage and proactively market Fund Sales, in particular, investment funds in Europe and to distribute to Institutional, Corporate Investors and Family Offices in Hong Kong and Asia.
- Be able to independently bring in new institutional clients, grow AUM and achieve business targets.
- Understand and provide suitable solutions for clients using full range of products
- Effectively collaborate with other teams such as Products, Operations, Legal and Compliance locally or overseas.
- Ensure all transactions undertaken with clients are compliant with the policies and procedures of the Bank and other applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years' solid experience in Institutional Sales (Fund Products) or Distribution role in a Fund House and with strong business connections to Institutional clients / investors
- Degree holder and above in Economics, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- Qualified as "Executive Officer" / "Responsible Officer" in Type 1 & 4 regulated activities
- Excellent team player with positive attitude
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to carry out all activities to the highest standard
- Fluency in English is a must, Mandarin and Cantonese preferred
