We're seeking someone to join our Asia Securities Lending Technology team as a Senior Development Lead Role in PBSFT to support continuous growth of Asia Securities Lending business and development team.

What you'll do in the role:
- Candidate must have a desire to take full ownership of every aspect of the SDLC on assigned deliverables, from requirements and analysis through testing and deployment.
- Candidate must be a hands-on developer in Java/Scala.
- Candidate is expected to work closely with the securities lending trading desk to gather requirements, innovate and architect solutions, both on premises and using public cloud technologies.
- Strong communication skills are a must as this role will entail heavy stakeholder interaction with the trading business
- At least 12 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
- Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
- Proficient in Java/Scala with a strong algorithmic and data structures background
- Experience working directly with a front office trading function
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Relational database design and SQL
