Contributes to the overall success of the Global Banking and Markets Fixed Income/Rates Sales in Dublin, Ireland covering clients in Europe ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.




Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:





  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

  • Develop and refine people skills, product knowledge and interpersonal skills that are key to the role.

  • The Incumbent will be able to provide market updates in the chats/calls and fielding client inquires on a reverse solicitation and outgoing basis.

  • Take on a portfolio of clients and provide value added coverage that aligns with the incumbent's goals and the firm's goals and strategy. Liaise with senior members of the team to provide seamless client coverage.

  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.

  • Contributes to a high-performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment, supporting the vision/values/business strategy for the team.

  • This role requires successful completion of the NFA Swaps Proficiency Requirement within 30 days of assuming the role and must be completed prior to engaging in in-scope activity.

  • The role has been identified as a Central Bank of Ireland prescribed Controlled Function. The incumbent is therefore required to have the relevant fitness and probity to carry out the role and responsibilities in such a manner that the incumbent can comply with the Central Bank of Ireland 2011 Fitness & Probity Standards, as applicable to the role. In general, the Fitness & Probity Standards require the role holder to:

  • (a) be competent and capable;

  • (b) act honestly, ethically and with integrity; and

  • (c) be financially sound.




Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:





  • Awareness of the industry, product knowledge and evolving regulatory landscape

  • Specific functional or product knowledge for the role in fixed income

  • Ideally previous sales experience ideally within a Financial Services environment

  • Fluency in English and at least one European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, or another European language) is required.

  • Professional business proficiency, both written and verbal, is essential.
