Position Summary



We are seeking a finance professional with strong expertise in accounts receivable administration or general accounting, preferably within a captive/shared services environment of a multinational organization. The role requires an individual who can operate effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment, collaborating across regions and stakeholders at all levels.



The incumbent will support the Manager / Sr. Manager in driving process excellence and transformation initiatives, including process transitions, standardization, and automation efforts. Additionally, the role will partner closely with Regional Finance leadership to support the execution of Regional revenue and accounts receivable strategies, contributing to scalable, efficient, and high-quality finance operations across the region.




KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES




Revenue Operations

• Lead reconciliations of client expenses across APAC region


• Prepare analysis of outstanding A/R, deferred revenue, billing-in-advance to support business improvement in days to collection.


• Support other revenue operations, including invoicing, contract data maintenance, CRM maintenance, reconciliation and posting of cash applications, reconciliations and routine query resolution across the APAC region.


• Maintain more complex contract data, amendments, renewals and master data updates


• Prepare and deliver financial reports to stakeholders of billable expenses


• Track and report KPIs and dashboards to enable informed decision-making

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with senior leadership to review client expense status, promoting billable status oversight and analysis.


• Liaise with regional and global teams across APAC and other functions


• Respond effectively to ad-hoc business requirements

Audit & Controls

• Support internal and external audits when necessary, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables


• Maintain strong financial controls, documentation, and compliance standards

Projects & Transformation

• Driving process improvements, automation, and transformation initiatives


• Contribute to standardization and harmonization across finance operations

Team Scope & Flexibility

• Demonstrate flexibility to support additional finance processes based on team priorities and capabilities


• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance team scope and efficiency

KEY REQURIMENTS

• Strong accounting knowledge and conceptual clarity


• Proven experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including end-to-end GL activities (closing, reporting, consolidation, cash & banking, fixed assets, and reconciliations)


• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; ability to build and analyze reports and dashboards independently


• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)


• Ability to manage stakeholder queries independently, including interactions with clients, peers, and leadership


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail


• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and pressure


• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and take initiative


• Strong understanding of controls, compliance, and governance frameworks


• Good communication and presentation skills

QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES




Essential

• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience


• Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or General Accounting / R2R


• 100% commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines


• Advanced Excel skills


• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance


• Proficient Microsoft office skills


• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal


• Interest and capability in Claude and ChatGPT

• CA or MBA (Finance) or M.Com


• Experience or exposure to international markets (Especially APAC)


• Experience in SAP (S4 Hana)
