SAP Basis Consultant

We are seeking high caliber, enthusiastic and proactive SAP Basis Consultant to join Cognizant

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Sound knowledge in LINUX/UNIX/Windows operating system
• Technically good in database administration- MSSQL, HANA, MaxDB and so on.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with servers/ Db/ printers
• Handling incidents and change requests in the specified area of work and ensuring SLA targets are met
• Providing SAP 2nd and 3rd,line technical support to the customers located worldwide in SAP Basis (SAP GUI, NWBC, S4HANA, GRC, Portal, Solman, BTP, BI, PO, BO, EPC, Content/Conversion servers, HANA, Ms Azure and etc)
• Support projects and change request needs
• Work/ raise incidents with HEC / SAP for issues with SAP systems on HEC
• Willing to work on weekends if required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or similar
• Preferably certified in the SAP Basis area
• Technical competency related to Windows/ Linux/ UNIX, networks and printers
• 3 years+ of SAP experience
• Database competency within Hana and Microsoft SQL server is beneficial
• Web technology competency would be beneficial
• Firewall knowledge will be added advantage
• ITIL Framework knowledge
• Good diagnostics skills
• Pro-active focus on delivery and quality.
• Good command of English Language (oral and written)

Experience:

• 3+ years relevant experience as SAP Basis consultant
• Experience with incident, problem and change management
