About our client

Our client is an investment management company focused on lodging real estate investments in Mexico with properties in the broader Caribbean region. The company is sponsored by a private equity manager committed to building best-in-class real estate platforms in Mexico of industrial, retail, residential, hotel, and multifamily properties. The position is based in Mexico City. What the job involves

• Lead the project development team through the entire development process for each assigned project to manage project aggressively and actively in strict accordance with standard development policies and procedures in accordance with the designated hotel brand standards
• Create and monitor project development schedule and budget for use throughout the development process
• Manage the project financial model
• Complete investment underwriting update memorandums for review and approval by required executive authority
• Prepare monthly internal project status reports and other internal reporting, as required
• Investigate, review, and determine the feasibility for potential projects
• Analyze probability, financial and market analysis and feasibility, initial product identification, environmental studies, engineering and land use studies, etc
• Oversee all phases of a project's design in accordance with the fund's standard project design parameters
• Manage and oversee the entitlement process, including representation before municipal and other regulatory boards
• Ensure the accurate and timely management of available inventory

Who we are looking for

• Relevant business experience including work in real estate development management experience, highly prefer experience with managing the construction of hospitality assets
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, business management or finance
• MBA strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite Programs, including Microsoft Project
• English full professional proficiency
• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform high-quality work on deadline
• Willingness to travel
