Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.

Key Responsibilities

• To be accountable for the month-end close for SG GTS products, review the SG/ regional GTS financial performance (P&L, BS, cost and non-financial) and forming objective insights
• To oversee/ support weekly regional GTS balance sheet reporting
• Conduct deep dives and insightful financial analytics to highlight focus areas especially in P&L, balance sheet and cost
• To partner and provide business finance support for new projects and initiatives (e.g. new product launches, system enhancement, MtJ)
• Facilitating business and internal finance adhoc requests
• Creating scalability and efficiency through streamlining and automating reporting processes
• Participate in team initiatives including digitization, reduction of manual processes to create a more efficient workflow

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance or any related discipline is preferred.
• Min 8 years post qualification experience preferably in business unit control or MIS reporting in international/local banks.
• Experience in Cash Management/ Trade products is preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
