Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Venture Capital Fund

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the firm’s overall finance, corporate and fund accounting, treasury, tax and operations functions
• Plan and build the overall finance and accounting, operational system for the firm
• Manage the finance and operations function for the fund management company and funds under management
• Collaborate with the senior management to provide them financial and operational analysis for the firm’s business and strategic growth
• Oversee the preparation of investor reporting and enquiries
• Ensure end-to-end finance support for the fund and underlying investment portfolio
• Monitor outsourced service providers such as audit, tax agents etc
• Collaborate with invested portfolio companies to provide them support from accounting and finance when necessary

Key requirements

• Minimum 8 years of Finance and Accounting experience in fund management industry, exposure to Venture Capital funds/Private Equity funds is an advantage
• Experience in supervising team members and setting up finance/accounting process
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other accounting qualifications
• Multi-jurisdictional experience in Asia and the U.S. is an advantage
• Good understanding in regulatory requirements and market trends
• Detailed-oriented, strategic, motivated
• Flexibility to work in a small-office environment
• Good communication and presentation skills
