This role will sit under the resourcing function and the appointee will be charged with timely and accurate delivery of candidate long lists and qualified short lists of those candidates deemed suitable for final interview. Whilst external sourcing will be a key responsibility, The ideal candidate will also be expected to curate internal pipelines with a view to facilitate talent deployment and international talent moves leveraging “Talent Marketplace” which is our internal talent platform.
You will have strong senior stakeholder engagement skills and will be expected to have the gravitas to be able to engage them independently. This role will provide value add by expediting searches and providing candidate source recommendations gained from existing industry referrals, proactive market mapping and other market contacts thus enabling a speed to market ‘quick solution’ approach to hiring. You will be expected to be/become an SME across the identified job families for your designated region with a strong network established with potential candidates and a good grasp on talent pools. Other responsibilities would include and not limited to.
Providing market intelligence and insight into hiring trends and salary and bonus information from competitor banks and financial institutions. This might be obtained from external news sources such as press releases and also with valuable internal tools available such as LinkedIn, Bloomberg or various public and private sources.
Storage of valuable & relevant candidate information to the firm’s CRM- Beamery with appropriate tagging for pipelining.
Providing crucial & pivotal support to their designated resourcing platforms by providing detailed candidate maps, long-lists and business intelligence otherwise provided by external recruitment firms.
Undertaking the role of a ‘quality manager’ to review the existing quality of sourcing deliverables, time-to-fill, hire conversion etc for CCIB and assist to mitigate these challenges by focusing your efforts on relevant targets.
Also undertake end to end research to placement responsibility on specific projects where required and in so doing contribute towards vendor fee savings and associated fees. You will build your internal relationships over time with the business and leverage these to anticipate future hiring needs, wherever possible, identifying potentially relevant candidates early on, to be able to assist with ‘speed to market’ approaches and turning projects around quickly.
