I am partnering one of the largest real estate developers in Singapore to hire a Financial Reporting Manager to support their business operations. This is a people managerial role that will be responsible for driving financial and management reporting.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 3-5 direct reports, driving financial reporting, management reporting deliverables on fixed assets, and ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting standards and policies. You will also be the go-to person for advice on technical accounting issues and will be involved in the review of financial statements and liaising with external auditors for statutory audits. As the organization expands and evolves with the changing consumer landscape, you will also be involved in process improvement/streamlining projects in support of growth initiatives.
Requirements
You have at least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally comprising initial years of training with a Big 4 external audit team, and subsequent years in financial reporting functions with commercial firms. To succeed in this role, you should have strong accounting fundamentals, and strong communication skills.
