HFT Python Engineer - Singapore

A well renowned proprietary trading firm who are leaders in the HFT/Algo space are looking for a talented Engineer who is a specialist in the Python language to join one of their most successful trading teams and help manage the live trading environment in their Singapore office, which is their main trading hub for all of Asia.

This role will allow you to collaborate with researchers and engineers to build a range of high-impact products, with responsibilities including performance tuning, trading automation, monitoring of the trading platform etc. Someone who has some prior experience in using C++, or interest and knowledge in the language is a huge plus too for obvious reasons at a HFT firm, however this is not essential.

The main skills required are:

• Deep Python knowledge is essential, C++ beneficial.
• Knowledge of UNIX (Linux) operating systems
• Someone who has taken an application from design through to production and maintenance
• A Computer Science degree is beneficial
