The Sr. Business Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Sr. Business Analyst may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.
Responsibilities: - Manage operating expenses, budgeting and variance analysis.
- Forecast, monthly and quarterly business review, annual operations plan.
- Partner the CTI functional teams to identify risks and opportunities throughout the quarter and developing processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities.
- Consolidation and reporting actual operating performance and reporting results.
- Coordinate with BP&A and CTI functional team to validate third party expenses booked, and intercompany charges received, including month end accrual process
- Performing adhoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making
- Partner the CTI functional teams to identify, track and follow through on execution of CTI Cost Efficiency/Productivity Programs
- Provide finance support and advice to regional CTI functional teams.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications: - 2-5 years of business analysis experience required
- Experience creating documentation within standard development methodology
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education: - Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
