Western Union powers your pursuit. In this new and unique role, reporting directly into the Head of Digital Bank Europe you will be responsible for driving the overall success of our digital- to-digital operations for the new pan-European Ecosystem:
Role Responsibilities - Preparing, implementing, and embedding an operational plan in line with the Digital Bank strategic vision and the wider Western Union strategy.
- Planning, monitoring, and developing operational delivery, designing and implementing of key performance indicators and tracking of progress against plan.
- Providing support for the launch of digital banking across new countries and subsequent growth initiatives with Country Leaders.
- Leadership of digital banking growth initiatives within the broader Western Union entity, liaising with regional teams.
- Collaborating across our four key pillars - Growth, Product, Engineering and Operations to ensure success of the hub.
- Managing key partnerships with vendors and third parties to ensure smooth delivery and operations across Europe.
Role Requirements - You will have worked in the consulting space, and within a start-up/scale up organization.
- Significant experience leading operations in digital, payments and/or retail banking is also essential.
- Previous experience of agile working methodologies is desirable along with strong digital analytical skills.
- Experience in managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams, customer centric and hands-on mindset.
- Strong business acumen with a proven track record of delivering results through innovation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
