Senior Cloud DevOps Platform Engineer

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for the architecture, the development and the operative maintenance of the Container Platform. Furthermore you will ensure efficient and stable operation and provide 1st level support for incident management and implement changes.

You will also take on other responsibilities such as:

• Design and implementation of the Container Platform and its environment
• Design of build pipelines and automation of processes
• Operation, further development and optimization
• Providing second level support within the framework of the existing support organisation and responsibility including on-call service

Your profile:

To cope with the tasks you have experience in continuous delivery processes and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab or Vault etc. Ideally you have a university degree in computer science (University of applies sciences, University) or equivalent education/further education in computer science. Alternatively you have several years of equivalent work experience. A valid work permission for Switzerland is mandatory.

In addition, you can demonstrate knowledge of the following points:

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes cluster based on Openshift as well as the design and implementation of monitoring of microservices
• Practical experience in automation (e.g. Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform)
• Good Linux knowledge (preferably RHEL/CentOS)
• Team player, ability to work with different stakeholders
• Good written and spoken English, German is an advantage
