Contracts Manager (m/w/d)

Our client, a luminary within the engineering and construction sector, is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position Contracts Manager at their location in the heart of Zurich. For this role we are looking for a person with a pro-active approach and strong negotiation skills. Your Duties

• Monitoring the progress of construction and O&M contracts and subcontracts and systematic recording of deviation
• Participation in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Handling of the supplementary management in cooperation with the project management
• Conduction of contractual correspondence, notification of disabilities, registration of additional costs
• Registration and submission of supplementary claims
• Monitoring of time limits as wells as notification of adjustments to time limits
• Creations of lists and management of order changes and supplementary offers
• Coordination of contract law issues with the legal service
• Enforcement of warranty claims against subcontractors as well as suppliers
• Filing and managing of audit-proof contract documents
• Coordination of company-wide compliance requirements

Your Profile

• Completed education for contract law or commercial/ legal training with in-depth knowledge of construction project contracts' management
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience preferably within infrastructure engineering projects
• Proven track record within the area of supplemental management/ contract management
• Experienced with standard forms of contracts such as FIDIC
• You' re happy to work independently as well in a team
• You are featured with good communication skills and are known for your assertive negotiation skills in written and oral form
• Willingness to travel to project locations if necessary
