Principal/SVP, Global Secondaries & Co-Investments Fund, Zurich or London

About our client

We are working with a global investment manager whose private equity secondaries team is currently deploying €900M fund. They are looking for a Principal / SVP to join them in Zurich or London, and focus on the full range of secondary transactions as well as co-investments in Europe. What the job involves

• Sourcing new secondary investment opportunities through existing relationships with GPs and intermediaries
• Detailed review and due diligence of investment opportunities, including financial modelling, valuation and sensitivity analysis of single asset and multi-asset investment opportunities
• Prepare investment proposals and manage the closing process of transactions
• Ensure monitoring and reporting process of the investment portfolio
• Support in client facing activities such as update calls, investor and fundraising meetings

Who we are looking for

• University or equivalent degree in business administration, economics (with major in finance), engineering or similar
• Proven experience in private equity (primaries and/or secondaries), with a background in M&A and/or transaction services,
• Expertise in financial modelling, (in particular financial statement analysis), financial accounting and corporate finance
• English fluent, any other European language an asset
