**Hot Vacancy** - Auditor – Tier 1 retail bank – Internal Audit Function
Location: Edinburgh
Model: Hybrid working (6 days a month in the office)
Salary Banding: £40k - £50k base + outstanding benefits package, and bonus
We are currently working with one of the UKs leading retail banks, who has a footprint that reaches far and wide across the country. The firm is looking to strengthen its Internal Audit team by bringing in an ambitious Auditor, who is looking to develop a career in a professional establishment.
Qualifications / Accreditations / Required Specialism:
- Degree qualification in a relevant field such as IT or business risk management or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the financial services industry such as the Retail, Wholesale and Corporate & Commercial businesses.
- Studying towards a professional qualification such as the ACCA / ACA qualified
- An individual who has covered Internal Audit accreditation (e.g. CIA, ACA) is welcome.
- Strong understanding of Risk management, Risk and Control frameworks and the mindset to identify and evaluate their effectiveness
- Experience of working in the financial services industry with a good knowledge of products and services for a Retail and /or Corporate & Commercial Bank
- Basic understanding of Conduct, Compliance, Reputation risks
