Governance and Outsourcing Analyst

We are looking for an experienced (minimum 2 years) candidate, located within the UK, with a financial or legal background to join one of our Tier 1 Investment Banking clients, focusing within their Governance and Outsourcing team for a long-term major project. We are looking for someone who can utilise a core data skillset preferably alongside some business analysis and projects skills. The role will involve is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual in a continuously evolving environment. The role would be based in their Glasgow Office, with a hybrid working model available. 

The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft excel skills and excellent communication skills will be important as the person will work across teams internationally. The candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills as well as excellent time management and critical thinking skills. Exposure to financial services and a degree in Accounting, Finance or Law is preferred.  

The consultant will provide: 

• The consultant will carry out and contribute to the completion of planned and ad-hoc regulatory outsourcing projects and deliverables. 
• The consultant will work with Management to document Global Process Designs and process documentation to enhance the control environment within a growing team.  
• The consultant will help to identify and document key processes surrounding the validation schedule and work with Management to distribute updates to the Global team.  
• The consultant will be expected to update supervision documents and work with Global team to confirm alignment with both regional-specific requirements; assist in monitoring adherence to Firm's minimum supervision standards and evidence of supervision between Hub/Spoke entities. 

The Successful Candidate:    

• The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Financial Services setting.
• The candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritise efficiently and meet deadlines.   
• The candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team.   
• The candidate will have excellent analytical and reporting skills.    
• The candidate will have advanced MS Excel skills.   
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or Law is desirable.
• The candidate will be able to work in the Glasgow Office 2 to 3 days a week.
