This Business Manager role is working directly for the EMEA COO, focused specifically on the firm’s European fixed income business. The new hire’s objective is ‘looking to foster the best possible mutually beneficial relationships with all of the firm’s trading counterparties’ - the hire will offer quantitative and qualitative feedback when reviewing counterparties (wallet analysis, wallet sizing, scorecards etc.). You will also be tasked with creating a new technology platform that will store the information / analysis carried out - there is a significant IT budget / resources dedicated to the build out of this new program and so the hire will work closely with tech teams, as a project manager. The hire will also work directly with traders to further understand / analyse its existing counterparties + to ensure that the firm has the most efficient relationship with all of them (where value is optimal).
The ideal candidate will most likely work for a top tier IB, with roughly 5-10yr relevant experience. Any advanced fixed income and / or derivatives pricing knowledge would be beneficial as would any wallet analysis / scorecard experience. A strong academic profile is required. Strong excel skills are a necessity.
For what is a crucial hire, my client is looking to offer a big increase on current base as an incentive to join. You can also expect to receive a front office bonus (a large % of your base will be realised as a bonus for a top performer). The firm offer a market leading benefits package and an amazing, relaxed office environment to work in.
