EGR:40050: Senior Valuations - Illiquid Assets - Credit

Primary focus on the oversight and performance of regular valuations of illiquid fixed income and complex security investments
Preparation of valuation reports in line with regular valuation timetable
Formulating and robustly defending valuation opinions
Review of draft valuations performed by junior valuation staff
Development and update of valuation models
Collation of underlying financial data from investment managers, providing relevant challenge where necessary
Oversight and performance of valuation due diligence reviews
Attendance at Fair Value Committee meetings to provide relevant technical input to the Committee as required
Communication of key judgements and conclusions to investment accounting function
Documentation of procedures and controls
Preparation of committee reports
Assisting with the review and challenge of externally performed property valuations
Oversight of key administrative duties for the investment valuations function
Acting as key liaison with financial control
Management and delivery of various items of project work
Assisting external valuation advisers with the performance of the external valuation process
Assisting external auditors in the financial audit process
