A market-leading independent energy firm are looking to hire a Modelling Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating the firm's corporate economic model.
- Performing risk based economic evaluations to evaluate the feasibility of projects and facilitate the investment decision-making process, identifying key business drivers.
- Providing economic modelling and sensitivity analysis to understand and implement value drivers that could significantly increase project returns.
- Providing commercial input and guidance for other key business functions e.g. finance, exploration and development, operations etc.
Skills & Experience:
- Over 5 years’ experience in a big 4 advisory team, investment bank, energy provider and/or private equity.
- An understanding of financial statements and an ability to integrate valuation models with corporate financial statements.
- A good finance, mathematics, or science focused degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of modelling oil and gas, renewables, power, transmission and distribution assets and companies in various fiscal regimes is helpful.
