Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for commercial finance? I have partnered with a leading Investment Management business to assist with their search for a self-motivated Finance Business Partner to join their Business Performance Team in London for an initial 12 months fixed term.
The Business Performance team provides insight and challenge to ensure business leaders deliver against targets set and can operate with a thorough understanding of the commercial impact of decisions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality insight and analysis of financial management information to the Exec team, Finance and wider functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in wider month end functional cost management activities
- Planning & Forecasting
- Cost reporting
- Desk profitability
- Cost containment
- Headcount analysis
- Assist in developing financial modelling tools to assist with commercial decision support processes / adhoc business requests
- Support in the delivery of robust financial management information
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA equivalent)
- Financial Services experience
- Cost management experience
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated and curious, able to generate new ideas (ways to increase efficiency, problem solving, adhoc analysis)
