Head of FP&A

Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged on the role of Head of Financial Planning & Analysis within Financial Services for a well-known investment company based in London. 

The Opportunity

The business has undergone a period of change and restructuring in recent years. Having consolidated its position, it is now looking to drive accountability and performance across all areas. This is the premise with which the short to medium term strategy is predicated upon and the new Head of Financial Planning & Forecasting will be critical to the delivering this.

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with qualified accountants with a financial planning & analysis background in financial services - preferably Asset Management.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of working in senior leadership roles and presenting at Board level. This individual must have a track record of getting out into the business and effecting positive change through building strong relationships with the stakeholders at all levels. Moreover, this person must be willing to be hands-on with top-down modelling.

Key requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Asset management or financial services background essential
• Sound accounting skills, diligent and accurate
• Managing and implementing change
• Ability to build and lead a team capable of self-operating
• Proven commercial acumen
• Excellent analytical ability with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Determined and assertive leadership qualities
• Strong time management skills, ability to prioritise workload and operate to strict reporting deadlines
• Demonstrate credibility with stakeholders (relationships, communication, influence and confidence)
• Takes personal accountability for quality and delivery
• Flexibility & adaptability essential
