Our client is a top 10 name in Global Long only fund management. They seek a Head of Latam Equities. This will be a new role.
The candidate will have
- Robust and fundamental approach to stock-picking and portfolio construction with a similar with a bottom up approach to idea generation and investment philosophy
- Ten years’ plus experience within financial services with at least 8 in a relevant buy-side institution. Prior experience in Latam is crucial, with a demonstrable track record in picking stocks. A demonstrable track record in fund management is considered a plus.
- They will demonstrate sound judgement, intuition, technical ability and a proven track record in idea generation and analysis. They will employ a ‘deep-dive’ approach to company research and their intellectual curiosity will lead them to challenge constantly their own analysis and that of their peers.
- He/she will be commercial, open-minded and actively interested in developing and exploring new ideas. They will demonstrate the ability to back up ideas with solid thought processes.
- This individual will be an excellent communicator, a strong team player and will have the capacity to thrive in a dynamic and challenging culture.
