Our client, a boutique fund, is looking for a Investor Relations Manager based in Mayfair, London.
This broad role would be ideal for an experienced individual with previous expertise in the fund management industry. Successful applicants will have proven ability in investor relations and marketing. They are open to both contractors and those looking for permanent work.
Responsibilities include
- Liaising at a senior level with other departments regarding investor matters, operating as the firms main go-to person for all institutional investor activity.
- Communicate client strategy to the CEO/CIO and other relevant individuals (such as budget holders in other departments, COO/CFO etc)
- Manage all external client relationships
- Main point of contact for all investors
- Organise and lead the AGM
- Provide effective and commercially focused marketing packs together with insightful commentary
- Drive the strengthening of marketing materials and ensure appropriate processes to support the fundraising activity
- Identify new and prospective clients and introduce solutions
- Take ownership of and run events for existing clients or fundraising events
- Accountable for investor team deliverables and deadlines
- Perform any ad hoc tasks or projects as may reasonably be required from time to time
Requirements
- Experience in institutional investor relations, fundraising and marketing for fund management/buyside firms
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to operate across a broad mandate.
- Very strong presentation skills
- Existing network of investors and/or ability to build network of new clients
Desirable not essential
- Experience of working for a specialist/boutique fund management firm
- Experience of managing others not essential but might be of future interest (role is currently a stand alone function)
