Management Accountant | £40k - £45k | Large Urban Regeneration Business | London
We have partnered with a large sustainable regeneration developer who are creating 20,000 homes, office space, retail and infrastructure in a high-profile and well-known area of London. Focusing on bringing a large community together and developing the highest quality of architecture.
They are looking for a dynamic and driven accountant, who wants to develop and learn within a fast-moving and broad business.
You will take responsibility for the management reporting and financial operations for their portfolio. Working in a team of 10 but working with a wide range of the 120 employees that currently work for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Quarterly management accounts and assistance with the annual business plan for the portfolio, reporting internally and to the external stakeholder
- Monthly management accounts and reporting
- Commercial analysis of income and expenditure
- Bank reconciliation of bank account money and liaising with auditors annually
- Continual review of the systems and processes to maximise efficiency of operations and reporting outputs
- Liaising closely witH club manager and restaurant manager and the central finance team
- Dealing directly with club members and any customers hiring space, responding to queries and representing the company in a professional and client-focused manner
- Journal entry and reconciliation between Nexudus and Access Dimensions
- Journal entry and reconciliation of monthly management accounts into Access Dimensions
- General administrative duties as required
- Financial analysis and running model scenarios to assist management with key decision making
- Annual budgeting, forecasting income across the income streams and monthly BvA reporting
- Input and oversight into the annual budget, monthly BvA review and meeting with managing agent
- Actively build strong relationships with non-finance team members to provide regular, meaningful analysis of spend to date against budgets
- Support the Client Accountant in managing the finances and reporting
- Pay run support for the central finance function, two pay run days each month.
- Assisting with budgeting and cost control of centralised overheads
- Assisting with the finance checks performed on invoices registered on the accounting system
We are looking for:
- A self-starter, organised & diligent, collaborative
- Confident to deal directly with tenants and club members in a professional manner
- Solid management account experience, preferably in hospitality or property service industry
- Good general Excel skills
- Prepared to get involved in every aspect of finance as required
- Other accounting experience, and / or qualifications are an advantage but not essential
