Role:-
You can expect to utilise your quant and research skills that you may have obtained during your academics. You will work as a NLP quant specialist on the systematic desk.
Your role will involve:-
Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to historical data, predictive signals, and trading strategies
Continue to build up a library of machine learning algorithms and related tools to be applied to various facets of the business
Rapidly building and refining machine learning models to detect good and bad actors.
Requirements:-
Prior experience with advanced statistical or machine learning techniques (time series analysis, NLP, reinforcement learning, supervised and unsupervised learning, graphical models, , etc.) is required.
Must have experience in applying these techniques to very large real-world data –sets.
Candidates who have degrees in computer science, math, physics, or another quantitative discipline emphasizing signal processing, prediction, pattern recognition, or machine learning should apply. Candidates must have the ability to express their ideas in code.
Outstanding academics. Degree in maths, physics or possibly computer science with a 1st or equivalent.
Prior experience in NLP is a huge plus even if it is just a relevant internship. Will consider candidates with NLP in a non-quant setup if they are strong.
