My client is an international consulting firm, who are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Manager or Assistant Manager to join their ESG Assurance Team to deliver advice to professional service firms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong consulting and financial services skills who desires to support clients in achieving ESG objectives.
.Providing subject matter expertise to the FS Advisory team on ESG matters including contributing to technical updates, support in planning discussions, issue resolution and training of staff
.Scoping, scheduling and leading ESG internal audit assignments for Financial Services clients
.Leading and/or supporting on ESG assurance reviews and making value-add recommendations to senior management
.Supporting ESG advisory reviews
.Involvement in key activities, which may include recruitment, budgeting, resource allocation, quality assurance etc.
.Internal audit or regulatory assurance or advisory work experience working within or with Financial Services
.Strong knowledge of the Financial Services sector, the UK regulatory environment generally and ESG specifically
.Have undertaken ESG internal audit or advisory assignments and have an understanding of review methodologies and techniques including assignment planning
.Strong written / communication skills, ability to influence, lead, engage, and manage stakeholders
.Understanding of risk management and internal control
