Our client is a boutique liquid alternatives global asset manager who is looking for an experienced sales professional to join and lead the sales effort on Global Macro/Rates strategies. The client-base is across wholesale and institutional with global reach.
Responsibilities:
Work as the Sales Director to strategise, manage and build a successful sales effort for the macro strategies.
Build new networks and use existing relationships across the region, raising assets and ensuring long term growth
Manage the sales process from qualifying to closing and embedding the right qualities of long-term relationships in the team
Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts
Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies to effectively and confidently represent the business and lead discussions with clients
Research and identify new client / relationship development opportunities
Skills Required:
Knowledge of the wholesale and institutional client base
Deep knowledge of various products across the alternative space, with ideally strong knowledge on hedge fund type strategies across macro/rates/bonds.
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Strong leadership qualities
