Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

We are seeking a Senior Accountant/Finance Manager to join our fast paced, growing and dynamic business.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly reporting

• Prepare financial analysis, management reports and annual budgets

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control

• create internal accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures

• Evaluate business performance and prepare variance analysis

• Review and manage the cashflow of the company

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external consultants for tax and other compliance matters as needed

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

• Handle ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline

• 5 years or above of proven experience in an accountant or financial related role in a similar environment in UK

• Must be eligible to work in the UK

• CPA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant is preferred

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP

• Knowledge of FCA regulations is a plus

• Previous experience in bank, funds or investment company is preferred

• Excellent analytical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills

• Pro-active, detail-oriented, organised and self-motivated

• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, multi-task, prioritize works and meet deadline

• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and diplomacy

• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Ability to speak or write Chinese is a plus
