About our client

We are working with a leading venture capital investor focused on food tech and alternative proteins, a high growth and high impact sector solving major global challenges. Having closed a significant fund in 2022, the highly-motivated founding team is looking for enthusiastic and impressive people to join the Investment Team to get involved in many different aspects of the firm as required.

Specifically, the fund is seeking to hire a Senior Associate to support senior management and to work throughout the entire investment lifecycle. It's an exciting and diverse role, and a rare opportunity to join a venture capital firm founded by a prominent and experienced team in food technology at an early stage of its development. • Market analysis - identify investment trends and opportunities
• Deal sourcing and screening
• Due diligence and investment - manage some aspects and work closely alongside a Partner on all aspects of a deal
• Portfolio oversight
• Network - develop relationships with founders and the relevant start-up ecosystem

Who we are looking for

• Fulltime experience from M&A in Investment Banking or a leading consultancy is essential
• Additional experience within a high growth start-up is highly desirable
• Top-tier education from a leading institution
• A genuine interest in the future of food
