Protiviti are currently to look to hire a number of experienced IT auditors due to a high volume of IT audit requirements across a number of our Tier 1 banking clients. This is a result of regulatory pressures, technology advances and involvement in next gen Audit.

IT Auditor responsibilities;

• Assist with planning and scope determination of IT audits.
• Co-ordination across local and global locations as necessary
• Execution of audit work in line with the banks Audit methodology
• Review of documentation of key validation and testing work papers
• Challenge across design effectiveness, operational effectiveness, and the need to ensure sustainability and embeddedness of controls approach
• Production of key audit findings and agree them for factual accuracy
• Assist with draft reports (internal and external)

IT Auditor key skills and experience;

• Professional certification within Audit 
• Extensive Financial services experience
• Strong IT and systems knowledge
• Integrated audit experience
• Cyber knowledge and understanding (desirable)
• Stakeholder management with experience of working cross jurisdiction and across different time zones.
