Supplier Relationship Manager

We are working with a globally recognised insurer to aid in the search of their next Supplier Relationship Manager. This role is responsible for developing and leading all supplier relationship management activities with a focus on maximising value from all third-party arrangements and mitigating operational risk.

London based

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and implementing the supplier management approach within the allocated business area and aligning to Group Procurement policies
• Providing expert, authoritative advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of supplier and contract management strategy and practice
• Overseeing and performing supplier relationship management activities in line with Corporation best practice and regulatory requirements
• Implement robust governance and oversight of all vendor arrangements, maintaining a framework of processes, policies, systems and activities required for end to end management of vendor relationships
• Leading strategic and operational supplier reviews primarily with Critical/High-Risk Suppliers

Requirements:

• Understanding of Procurement or Contract management processes and best practice
• Working within a contract management or Procurement function
• Experience of managing technology suppliers and contracts
• Significant business partnering experience and track record of influencing senior stakeholders
• Management of third parties and internal stakeholders

Benefits:

• Salary £60,000-£70,000
