A Global Commodities Supplier and Trader is looking to recruit a Governance and Risk Specialist to work in it's London office.
You will have:
- Substantial experience in Operational Risk and Governance, or Business Management with focus on commodities
- Ideally experience in a trading environment and/ or Commercial/investment banking/ law/ financial services background
- Experience in developing control frameworks in trading environments with excellent understanding of front to back trading process and teams
- Experience within a complex organisation across different countries and jurisdictions, cultures, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of the operations, end to end processes and document flow in a physical commodity trading environment
- A clear understanding of best practice organisational design and allocation of roles and responsibilities
- A good understanding of governance related controls and organisational structure design
