Transitions & New Business PM - Investment Management - London - 12 months

Responsibilities

• Manage fund initiatives including research, planning, design and implementation for fund events across the firm
• Work on BAU and project activity to assist with fund launches
• Manages or leads key research items, development of new operating models and workflows and/or enhances existing workflows to meet the demands of new product initiatives.
• Works with internal stakeholders and third party service providers to create processes that meet operational needs and integrate effectively
• Maintain a sound understanding of fund products and services
• Develop and maintains a complete understanding of the operating models and information flow
• Maintain relationships with third party, portfolio review group and fund companies
• Identifies, evaluates, and elevates risks and issues that have the potential of impacting the fund event completion. Engage resources, as needed, and employ management strategies to resolve problems and/or negotiate alternative solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years related work experience at an Asset Manager/Hedge Fund
• Project management experience working on fund launches
• Middle Office/Operations/Fund Accounting background
• Strong examples of stakeholder management and influence
