What you'll do
As our Privacy Analyst, you'll support a range of P&CC activities, including, evidence gathering, communications, training and awareness initiatives. Your work will help embed a strong culture of privacy risk management across the organisation.
You'll support compliance with relevant P&CC policies, standards and guidance, while using management information and data analysis to identify control gaps, inform decision-making and enhance assurance practices. Working closely with operational teams, you'll provide practical support across key privacy and client confidentiality controls

The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll bring previous experience in privacy or data protection, or a strong working knowledge of GDPR and UK data protection law. You'll either hold, or be working towards, an IAPP CIPP/E certification or equivalent. Alongside this, you'll have a strong understanding of risk management principles and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach to managing privacy and client confidentiality matters.

- You'll support privacy and client confidentiality (P&CC) risk management and regulatory compliance activities across the organisation, helping to maintain a robust and effective control environment
- You'll also assist stakeholders in meeting their P&CC responsibilities, contributing to assurance activities and promoting compliance with policy and regulatory requirements
- Build your expertise in privacy risk and compliance, gaining exposure to a broad range of stakeholders, controls and regulatory matters across the bank
What you'll do
As our Privacy Analyst, you'll support a range of P&CC activities, including, evidence gathering, communications, training and awareness initiatives. Your work will help embed a strong culture of privacy risk management across the organisation.
You'll support compliance with relevant P&CC policies, standards and guidance, while using management information and data analysis to identify control gaps, inform decision-making and enhance assurance practices. Working closely with operational teams, you'll provide practical support across key privacy and client confidentiality controls
You'll be:
- Supporting with P&CC risk management and regulatory compliance activities, including Privacy Impact Assessments, breach management and the resolution of ad hoc queries
- Acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day stakeholder requests, preparing reports, briefings and other supporting materials
- Providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice on privacy, client confidentiality and compliance-related matters
- Monitoring global privacy developments and conducting research, identifying potential implications for the organisation
- Supporting working groups and contributing to organisation-wide initiatives, helping to design and implement improvements to privacy and compliance practices
- Working collaboratively across the team, contributing flexibly to shared priorities

- Good planning and organisational abilities, managing multiple activities effectively while maintaining attention to detail
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities, delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Research experience and strong analytical skills, gathering and interpreting information to support decision-making and the resolution of privacy and compliance queries
