Environment Manager

Oracle Environment Manager - Oracle Cloud / Fusion / EBS / eBusiness and Azure

Hiscox are hiring for an experienced and capable Environment Manager to support both Oracle and Azure environments and work across their current Financial Transformation programme; delivering technical management across the business both nationally and internationally

This role will require you to take overall responsibility for all components of the environments supporting our enterprise transformation programme and work closely with the delivery teams to support and ensure that solutions are fit for purpose

You will be required to ensure that the controlled release of the new platforms and environments is fit for purpose and implemented to meet the need of the business; help define the environments to be delivered into live and BAU and support and monitor the platform as it is built upon over time

The current environments are a mix of on-premise, Azure and Oracle Cloud and you will have experience working within a heterogeneous environment delivering platforms / solutions in a high demand / high availability businesses

Within this role you will:

• Create and maintain a high level plan for platform enablement for programme to transition to live service and maintain environment plans in a BAU operation.
• Manage all aspects of environments including design, delivery, change support, data provisioning and usage and on-going maintenance.
• Build a team to effectively support the environments through the delivery of projects and in BAU

Experience in prior Environment Delivery within an Oracle Cloud environment is essential
