M&A Director - Business Services

A leading international Mid-Market Investment Bank is looking to hire an experienced Director to join it's Business Services M&A team in London. The team is seeking an execution-focused banker who enjoys running transactions and taking ownership of complex deal processes, while also contributing to client development and origination initiatives.

The Role

Lead the execution of sell-side, buy-side, and capital raising mandates across the Business Services sector.
Take day-to-day responsibility for managing live transactions from preparation through to completion.
Act as a key point of contact for management teams, private equity sponsors, and corporate clients.
Manage junior team members and drive high-quality analytical and marketing output.
Support senior bankers in developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Contribute to sector coverage initiatives and help build the team's presence within the Business Services market.

Candidate Profile

6+ years of M&A experience gained within:
- A Big 4 Corporate Finance / M&A practice.
- A respected mid-market investment bank or advisory platform.
Strong track record executing UK and European M&A transactions.
Experience managing multiple workstreams and taking ownership of deal delivery.
Comfortable leading client interactions and coordinating advisers throughout a transaction.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
Strong commercial judgement and excellent financial analysis skills.
