Western Union powers your pursuit. In this role, you will serve as a member of the Western Union Cyber Defenses leadership team, overseeing the planning, selection, and implementation of Cyber Security technologies in the Western Union environment.
Role Responsibilities - Build and manage a global cybersecurity team to implement and maintain an appropriate program in coordination with other Western Union technology leaders as well as our broader global cybersecurity team.
- Use the NIST and MITTRE attack framework to measure maturity of their service offerings and continuously enhance them and lead a global team of engineers focused on delivering protection use cases to the 24/7 Cyber Fusion Center.
- Oversee a team of 20-25, spread across the globe.

Role Requirements - Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of professional experience.
- Experience with a broad range of security technologies including, Web Application Firewalls, Distributed Denial of Service protection, Intrusion Prevention, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Antivirus (AV), and Cloud Security Access Brokers (CASB).
- Mapping technology stacks against industry frameworks (NIST, MITRE, CIS Critical Security Controls, etc), and with applying security controls in cloud environments, specifically AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.

Salary The salary range is $ 162,971.00 - $271,618.00 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term (20% of base), and long-term (20% of base) , incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
