Job Description
At Cantor Fitzgerald Technology Markets LLC, we are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our AI Transformation team. This role is integral to our mission of modernizing Shared Services by leveraging process reengineering, automation, and AI-powered solutions. As a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, you will identify AI and automation opportunities, shape use cases, and drive the successful delivery of technology solutions. This is a hybrid business analyst and builder role best suited for a well-rounded professional who excels at understanding business needs and translating them into technology solutions as well as hands-on implementation. This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, technical acumen and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Shared Services stakeholders to understand business processes and identify AI and automation opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce risks. Drive process mapping, optimization, and reengineering to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Shape use cases for AI, automation, and process transformation, aligning with business priorities.
- Help drive build vs. buy discussions for tools and solutions that meet the needs of the business.
- Triage and prioritize automation opportunities based on anticipated outcomes, complexity and urgency expressed by the business.
- Provide hands-on support to the business by implementing AI and rule based automation solutions and assist with integration of AI enterprise assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to increase productivity; provide training and support as needed.
- For more complex solutions that require engineering support, gather, document, and refine business requirements, translating them into functional specifications; partner with the engineering teams and data owners on solutioning and drive successful implementation.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to both business and technical teams.
- Support change management initiatives for the successful adoption of new tools and processes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product, technology, data, analytics or similar roles that require both a strong business acumen and technical capabilities.
- A proven track record of hands-on implementations of scalable, robust AI solutions in corporate environments that deliver real value to the business.
- Solid knowledge of SDLC, LLMs, APIs, agentic workflows and credibility with engineering teams.
- Ability to quickly learn new business domains, earn trust of business stakeholders and deliver despite emerging challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and a talent for stakeholder management.
- Experience in financial services/regulated industries is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $130,000 - $170,000 Base Salary
