C++ Developer - Associate Director Trading Systems

Vallum Associates is once again partnering with one of our long term Banking clients to hire a brand new role in their Capital Markets team. With an aggressive target of 25% headcount growth in 2023, one of the key roles they are looking to hire is a Trading Systems Developer-AD.

The Trading Systems Developer will be tasked with supporting and improving trading platforms, based around equites and derivates. This position is looking for strong C++ Developers to enhance and maintain the core server applications through trading across all desk.

Based in their New York City office(s) you will work directly with Traders and Quants across multiple desks (equities, derivates and fixed income) to build Ultra Low Latency / High Frequency trading systems.

Requirements needed for this position:

• Experienced on developing low latency - high frequency trading systems on the Linux Platform.
• MUST HAVE C++ Experience.
• Python Experience.
• Electronic Trading / Front Office experience dealing with Traders and Quants.
• Degree educated.
