Core Java/ Java Swing Team Lead

Vallum Associates is working with a prestigious global investment hedge fund to find a new Core Java/ Java Swing Team Lead. Our client currently manages billions of dollars in assets and is growing exponentially. They are looking for an individual that will work in the front office driving Core Java/ Java Swing infrastructure development across trading platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong Core Java/ Java Swing experience (10+ years)
• Experience working in a Front Office environment (8+ years)
• Strong Management experience- Will lead a team of around 13-14 developers
• Must have worked in an Investment Banking Environment, Hedge Fund or Investment Firm
• Knowledge and experience working in cross-asset classes: Equities, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.
• Experience working on Ultra Low-Latency, High Frequency Trading Platforms
• Exceptional communication skills and experience liaising with the business (stakeholders, traders, etc.)

Salary:

$250k - $375k

Full time, Hybrid Role- 3 days in office, 2 days at home
