Quantitative Researcher (Medium Frequency)
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience doing medium frequency research at a top buy side institution.
- PhD/MS or BS in Math, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Economics from a top tier University
- Familiarity with most of the commonly used data sets like Price/Volume, Short Interest, Short Volume, Company Fundamentals, IBES, 13F, Earnings
- Experience working with Optimizers and modifying optimizer code (mosek)
- Experience writing backtester / simulator for Equities
- Understanding of transaction cost and execution algorithms
- Experience with Equity Risk models
- Proficiency in Python and its packages
