We are currently looking for a Project Lead who will be responsible for coordinating the identification and remediation of root causes of operational risk across key capital markets/banking processes. A strong operational background is required, with good analytical skills, an understanding of root cause analysis, and good project management skills.

About the role

Responsibilities for the role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development, management and tracking of project plans, compiling summary and detail level reports regarding status 
  • Create presentations, leveraging strong analytical and communication skills
  • Use best practice PMO methodology to create project plans to fit the business needs
  • Participate in management of team projects, enabling projects to remain on track and escalating issues when necessary
  • Attend meetings independently, representing the interests of CBNA
  • Identify and track project inter-dependencies, and provide support to mitigate and/or resolve issues when needed
  • Apply lessons learned from recent projects to future projects
  • Track realization of benefits and results

 

Who are we looking for? 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience – with some or all of that in the Finance, Compliance, Control, Risk or Global Project Management organizations
  • Need root cause analysis plus analysis failure models and affects analysis
  • Creative, process-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to multi-task
  • Naturally curious, problem solver
  • Self-starter, pro-active approach with follow through
  • Experience working on large scale projects and facilitating large change initiatives, including experience in project tracking and issue management
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate with peers and seniors in other areas
  • Ability to work effectively within a large, matrixed organization
  • Ability to work within a diverse team compromised of many backgrounds, perspectives and skill-sets
  • Ability to understand issues at both strategic & operational levels

Primary Location Salary Range: $130,000 - $177,000
