Manages the performance of assigned staff, coaching, and guiding on external reporting of the FR 2052a and related liquidity process and strategy execution specifically. Sets priorities and allocates resources to align with business and external reporting objectives. Coaches and guides assigned staff on improving the execution of the external reporting activities and achievement of goals. Manages staff development and talent management processes. Determines staffing and compensation recommendations and participates in the hiring and termination decision making processes within the department. Total team size is approximately 20 individuals located both in the US and India.
Candidate will have a thorough understanding of liquidity regulatory reporting concepts including compliance and regulatory bodies. Key responsibilities will focus on the FR 2052a, LCR, and NSFR reporting but will also require an understanding of GAAP accounting principles and the balance sheet of a large global financial institution. Will build a knowledge of all products by building relationships with internal clients, with a view towards their reporting and data needs, against existing solutions and future state reporting expectations. Applies understanding of the regulatory requirements that exist within the assigned area of responsibility and how these requirements may be addressed through process improvements. Consults managers with reporting team(s) on underlying reporting development, to improve efficiency in data sourcing and report automation.
Candidate will have a bachelor‘s degree in Accounting / Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 10-12 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred. Experience in regulatory reporting and/or controller functions at a GSIB is preferred.

CPA or MBA preferred but not required
10+ years of experience, must have experience in regulatory reporting managing staff
Manages large complex team located onshore both in office and fully remote as well as a team in multiple locations in India
Working knowledge of the FR 2052a (6G) reports and related disclosures
Strong Accounting knowledge
Understands complex banking and markets products
Manages Internal Audit Examination processes and other compliance exams
Data analysis skills a plus, use of SQL, Power BI, and other data querying tools
Axiom reporting platform experience is a plus
