The FSRA is responsible for the regulation of Financial Services providers at Abu Dhabi Global Market and for the regulation of related activities. The Authorisation Division is responsible for considering applications to conduct financial services in and from ADGM. The Division authorises both firms and individuals, influences policy developments in the areas for which is it responsible, and assists other ADGM departments where appropriate.
Operational
Treat specific applications and enquiries received by the Division, in accordance with guidance given by the Director/Associate Director.
Understand the business model being proposed and the risk it poses to the FSRA’s objectives.
Follow authorisation principles, policies and procedures.
Set up and attend meetings with Applicants and prospects; establish written agendas and maintain minutes.
Work with prospective new entrants through the application process.
Carry out risk-based reviews of applications.
Maintain appropriate documentation of all cases.
Prepare authorisation recommendations and propose appropriate conditions or restrictions to mitigate identified risks.
Maintain oversight of changes to the regulations and policy that will impact the authorisation process.
Be aware of changes to the regulations and/or policy that may affect the authorisation process; suggest any changes that may be relevant.
Build and manage relationships with stakeholders among market participants.
Liaise with other internal stakeholders such as Supervision and/or the ADGM Business Development team and participate in early prospect engagement, as appropriate.
Deliver additional tasks that may be delegated from the Executive Director.
Assist in the management and development of less experienced members of the department as required.
Managerial

Education
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the same field.
